In October 1943, while most of Denmark's Jews reached Sweden, 470 men, women and children were deported to Theresienstadt. The lectures follow their arrest, deportation, captivity and liberation as they experienced it themselves.

Silvia Goldbaum Tarabini Fracapane will publish the book in autumn 2023 The life of Danish Jews and died in Theresienstadt (Gyldendal), on which the lectures are based.

  1. October 1943: Who was arrested and why? The Jewish camp in Horserød. The four transports to Theresienstadt.
  2. Theresienstadt: Prison Life. Hunger and strategies for asking for food. Food packages from Denmark.
  3. Theresienstadt: Before, during and after the international visit in June 1944. Witnesses to the transports to Auschwitz.

There is free admission to the museum in connection with the lectures.
