Exhibition

Come onboard one of the vessels that saved refugees in 1943! The Swedish minesweeper M 20, which participated in the rescuing of Danish Jews escaping across Öresund, travels along the Swedish coast with a mobile exhibition telling visitors about the events in 1943.

The museum ship M 20, owed by the Swedish national Maritime Museum, will sail from Stockholm to Gothenburg for three weeks, stopping in several ports on the way to show the exhibition in local museums.

In every port, visitors are welcome to board the boat to learn more from the exhibition and the role of the ship and its crew and perhaps come along on a short sail.

The exhibition tells of the events with the perspective of the captain of M 20 in October 1943 and one of the persons escaping with the help of M 20.
