"Make a difference" - Portrait exhibition

4.-11. June 2023

Portrait exhibition

Come and experience a unique portrait exhibition by the international organization The Autographers, which focuses on the survivors who experienced the Holocaust first hand. It is a portrait exhibition in relation to The 80th anniversary of the action against the Danish Jews.

This exhibition of portrait photographs gets close to the survivors and their experiences during the war. Come and get an insight into how Danish Jews experienced the flight to Sweden, what role the war played in their lives afterwards, and get an insight into why it is still important to convey the story to future generations. The portraits were taken by Danish and Israeli photographers and portray survivors who today live in Denmark and Israel.

The exhibition is outdoors at Det Jødiske Hus during the Jewish Culture Festival in Copenhagen.

Date: 4 - 11 June 2023 and will be shown at the Jewish Culture Festival
