What did we know about the Holocaust and Theresienstadt?

28. September 2023

What did various Danish actors – officials, the press and the Jewish community – know about the Holocaust and Theresienstadt in the weeks surrounding the action against the Danish Jews in October 1943? Hear experts talk about the political reality of the dramatic weeks.

On 28 September, a debate meeting will be held at Politiken on what the authorities in Denmark, the press and the Jewish community knew in September/October 1943 about the development of the Holocaust in Europe and the threat to Jews living there.

On stage is the writer Bo Lidegaard about the head of department's rule, journalist Anders Jerichow about the press and historian Sofie Lene Bak about the Jewish community.
